We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Business Development Manager

to drive growth in the

Business to Government (B2G) sector . The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and closing opportunities with government clients while building long-term relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in government sales, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to navigate complex government procurement processes.Key Responsibilities:Government Sales Strategy Development:Develop and implement a strategic sales plan targeting government departments, ministries, and public sector organizations.Identify opportunities within government tenders, RFPs, and other procurement channels.Client Relationship Management:Establish and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers.Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.Business Growth:Drive revenue growth by securing contracts and achieving sales targets in the B2G domain.Identify new opportunities and partnerships that align with organizational objectives.Proposal and Bid Management:Lead the preparation of winning proposals, presentations, and tenders tailored to government requirements.Ensure compliance with government procurement regulations and policies.Market Research and Insights:Stay updated on government policies, funding programs, and initiatives that impact the business.Analyze market trends, competition, and client feedback to refine strategies.

6.Team Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams such as product development, marketing, and legal to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members7.Reporting and Analysis:Track and report sales performance, pipeline progress, and market developments to senior management.Use data to identify gaps and refine the approach.Key Requirements:Experience:

7-10 years of proven success in B2G sales or business development, preferably in industries such as IT, infrastructure, education, or public sector solutions.Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields (MBA preferred).Government Sales Expertise:

In-depth understanding of government procurement processes, tendering, and contract management.Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions and drive results.Tech-Savviness:

Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and other sales software.Networking Abilities:

Ability to build and maintain a robust network of government and industry contacts.Flexibility:

Willingness to travel for client meetings and government interactions as required.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in working with state or central government entities.Demonstrated ability to secure high-value contracts.Knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance in government projects.
