Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Development Manager in Chennai. As a Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for communication, lead generation, team management, sales, and sales operations. The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers. The application is powered by AI and blockchain technology, offering innovative features to fitness enthusiasts, coaches, and professionals.
Responsibilities
- Manage sales leads and inquiries received from digital marketing channels.
- Lead a team of telecalling professionals to effectively engage with potential clients.
- Conduct product demonstrations for fitness club owners, coaches, and professionals.
- Convert leads into paid partners by showcasing the application’s unique features and benefits.
- Identify and allocate tasks to interns to visit fitness and sport clubs daily to promote subscriptions.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine sales strategies.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the application.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify and recruit top sales talent
- Mentor employees to help them achieve individual & team objectives
Requirements:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Familiarity with AI and blockchain technology is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably someone who worked from bootstrap
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
- Proven experience in lead generation and sales
- Strong team management skills
- Proficiency in sales operations
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Experience in the fitness industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
