We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our office furniture sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management within the furniture industry, with a focus on office furniture solutions. This role requires strategic thinking, leadership abilities, and a proven track record of driving sales growth.
Role & responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives in the office furniture segment.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to drive performance, meet targets, and exceed customer expectations.
- Sales Planning: Develop sales plans, forecasts, and budgets aligned with company objectives, market trends, and customer demands.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, architects, designers, and decision-makers in the office furniture industry.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats. Utilize insights to adapt sales strategies and tactics accordingly.
- Product Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of our office furniture product line, including features, benefits, and applications. Provide guidance and training to the sales team as needed.
- Sales Process Optimization: Continuously improve sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance metrics, KPIs, and pipeline activity. Take proactive measures to address any issues and capitalize on opportunities for improvement.
- Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management. Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the office furniture industry.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales management tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
