Roles and Responsibility
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the culinary experience.
- Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service.
- Supervise and train junior staff members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring minimal waste and optimal costs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and its techniques.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills are required to manage and motivate a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail is necessary to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
