**About Us**:
Peninsula Redpine Hotel is a 4-star luxury hotel located in the heart of Mumbai's Andheri East. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Indian Sous Chef to join our Kitchen team.
**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
2. Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Indian kitchen staff.
3. Ensure that all food prepared is of high quality, fresh, and presented attractively.
4. Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen.
5. Control food costs, labor costs, and inventory.
6. Develop and implement new recipes and menus.
7. Train and develop junior staff members.
8. Maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
**Requirements**:
1. 5-7 years of experience as an Indian Sous Chef or equivalent in a hotel or restaurant.
2. Diploma or degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts.
3. Excellent knowledge of Indian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
