About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales & Business Development Intern to support our growing sales operations. This role involves direct interaction with potential clients, preparing high-quality sales materials, maintaining CRM, and assisting in the entire sales cycle from lead contact to contract closure.
If you are an MBA (Sales/Marketing) with an IT/computer background, excellent English communication, and a passion for client engagement, this internship will give you the perfect platform to build your career in B2B IT Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact and engage with new leads generated every month.
- Schedule client meetings, coordinate follow-ups, and maintain professional communication.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations tailored to client requirements.
- Gather detailed requirements from clients and document them effectively.
- Draft, format, and refine proposal documents, quotations, and contracts.
- Maintain and update leads in CRM systems regularly with accurate details.
- Track follow-ups, reminders, and nurture leads through the sales pipeline.
- Support the sales team with research, competitor analysis, and market insights.
- Ensure all sales documentation (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is professional, accurate, and client-ready.
- Assist senior management in creating and standardizing sales processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Mandatory: Excellent English communication skills (both spoken & written).
- Strong confidence in speaking with clients politely and professionally.
- Ability to prepare well-structured sales presentations and client-ready documents.
- Attention to detail in preparing proposals and contracts.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for formatting and reporting.
- MBA in Sales/Marketing/Business Development (preferred).
- IT/Computer background (BE/BTech, BCA, MCA, etc.) will be an added advantage.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills.
- Self-motivated with a keen interest in learning IT sales processes.
