Overview:
The Corporate Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue generation and establishing long-term business partnerships. This position requires a strategic approach to identify, pursue, and secure corporate clients to maximize occupancy and revenue streams for the company.
Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify potential corporate clients and develop targeted strategies to engage them effectively.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and potential business opportunities.
Proactively reach out to corporate decision-makers through various channels including cold calling, emails, networking events, and presentations.
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients to ensure repeat business and foster loyalty.
Act as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with other departments such as operations, marketing, and events to deliver exceptional service and tailor offerings to meet client needs.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
Create customized sales proposals and presentations to showcase the hotel's offerings and value proposition to corporate clients.
Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement to optimize sales processes and outcomes.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with corporate clients to secure profitable business agreements.
Ensure that all contracts and agreements comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and accurately reflect the terms discussed with clients.
Work closely with the legal team to review and finalize contracts, resolving any discrepancies or issues as needed.
Market Intelligence and Reporting:
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities and potential threats.
Generate regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market insights to inform decision-making and strategy development.
Provide recommendations for adjustments to sales tactics, pricing strategies, and product offerings based on market analysis and feedback.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Sales, or related field. MBA preferred.
Proven track record of success in corporate sales, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with corporate clients.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales and marketing tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-oriented mindset and a drive to exceed targets.
