This is a remote position.
The Human Resources (HR) Assistant will support the HR department in various HR-related tasks, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of HR operations. This role involves administrative duties, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, maintaining employee records, and providing general HR support.Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare HR documents, such as employment contracts and new hire guides.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, meetings, and HR events.

Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in posting job openings on various job boards and the company’s careers page.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews.
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing welcome materials and conducting orientation sessions.

Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employees with HR-related inquiries.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and company events.

- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Assist in preparing HR reports, such as headcount and turnover reports.

- Coordinate training sessions and workshops.
- Maintain records of employee participation in all training and development programs.

- Assist in processing payroll and maintaining payroll records.

Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or HR role is advantageous.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
