Job Description

This is a remote position.

The Human Resources (HR) Assistant will support the HR department in various HR-related tasks, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of HR operations. This role involves administrative duties, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, maintaining employee records, and providing general HR support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:

    • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Prepare HR documents, such as employment contracts and new hire guides.
    • Schedule and coordinate interviews, meetings, and HR events.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Assist in posting job openings on various job boards and the company’s careers page.
    • Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews.
    • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing welcome materials and conducting orientation sessions.
  • Employee Relations:

    • Serve as a point of contact for employees with HR-related inquiries.
    • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and company events.
    • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • HR Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
    • Assist in preparing HR reports, such as headcount and turnover reports.
    • Maintain HR metrics and compile data for analysis.
  • Training and Development:

    • Coordinate training sessions and workshops.
    • Maintain records of employee participation in all training and development programs.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration:

    • Assist in processing payroll and maintaining payroll records.
    • Support benefits administration, including enrollment and answering employee queries regarding benefits.

Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or HR role is advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Requirements
1.- Valid driver's license and clean driving record. 2.- Previous experience in driving instruction is preferred. 3.- Above 21 years of age. 4.- Driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of experience 5.- Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
