Overview:
Makemyvisa provides one-stop solution for all travel needs, whether it's for leisure, education, employment, or relocation. From arranging flight tickets to booking hotels, securing travel insurance, crafting visa itineraries, and handling apostille/attestation, translation, and notary services, we covered everything.
As an HR and Operations Manager at our Visa and Immigration Consulting Firm based in Odisha, India, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of human resources and operational functions. You will be responsible for overseeing hiring processes, drafting employment contracts, managing team hygiene, monitoring performance metrics, and staying updated on policy changes and schemes related to immigration and visas for various countries.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
Draft and review employment contracts for new hires, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Coordinate with prospective employees throughout the onboarding process.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements throughout the hiring process.
Employee Relations & Administration:
Maintain a positive and productive work environment by promoting team hygiene.
Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate salary payments. Also manage benefits administration and resolving payroll-related issues.
Manage leaves and attendance records, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance with company policies.
Facilitate regular check-in meetings with team members to address concerns and provide support.
Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees on their performance.
Team Performance Management:
Collaborate with business leaders to define key performance metrics and goals for the team.
Monitor team performance against established metrics and KPIs.
Implement operational strategies to optimize team performance and achieve business objectives.
Research:
Stay updated on policy changes, new schemes, and regulations related to immigration and visas for various countries.
Analyse and interpret policy updates to assess their impact on our consulting services and advise relevant stakeholders accordingly.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations in India.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work activities.
Salary Range:
₹3.0 Lakhs - ₹3.5 Lakhs per annum
