KeyResponsibilities:
- Identifyand prospect new business/clients via coldcalling and salesactivities.
- Build anddevelop strong relationships with new and existingclients.
- Conductregular followups with clients to encourage upselling andretention.
- Monitor theprogress of the shipment until the finaldestination.
- Participatein contract setting and monitor customerpayments.
- Takeownership of customer issues and follow through tillresolution.
- Preparationof Daily Sales Reports (DSR) and updating shipment status tocustomers on a dailybasis.
- Regularlyattend teammeetings.
- Submitneedbased data toManager.
- Quickresponse toemails.
- Resolvecustomer queries regardingshipments.
Requirements:
- Bachelorsdegree in Business Administration Marketing or relatedfield.
- Proven trackrecord of 12 years in Freight Forwarding or a similarindustry.
- Strongcommunication and negotiationskills.
- Excellentinterpersonal skills with the ability to build rapportquickly.
- Goalorientedwith a focus on achieving salestargets.
- Ability towork independently and as part of ateam.
- Proficiency inMS Officesuite.
- Knowledge offreight forwarding processes and procedures ispreferred.
