I) Position Summary
An Enterprise Architect (Presales) combines technical expertise with strategic vision to create compelling solutions that resonate with customers. The role is pivotal in shaping technology solutions that align with business objectives and drive growth for the customers. This role demands following:
- Understand customer business challenges & drivers and create a technology enabled solution addressing them.
- Keep abreast of modern technologies to create digital transformation.
- Understand various industry segments & corresponding technology use cases.
- Design comprehensive solutions that span multiple service lines with an understanding of business case.
Identify synergies and create integrated proposals
II) Person Specification:
a) Essential Qualifications:
Graduate in Engineering Experience: 7-12 years. MBA preferred
Pre-sales exposure is highly desirable.
b) Requisite Skills:
Technical
- Knowledge of various Enterprise Networking technologies & services Like MPLS & Internet, Ethernet, SDWAN , LAN , Wifi, campus networking
- Concept of Routing Protocols like Static, BGP, OSPF
- Security products: VPN, Firewall, UTM, Proxy, SASE, SIEM, SOAR, DLPs
- Hosting services: Public clouds & Hyper scalers, Data centers & Collocation, Virtualization - VMware /Hyper-V, Compute, Private cloud build, Storage, Backup, DR services
- Unified Communication – PBXs, Contact centers, Video collaboration & Mobility
- Expertise in any of the Technology of Network/Data Centre/Security/Unified Communication
Functional
- Provide solutioning support to sales teams for specific deals.
- Create & deliver capability presentations, defense presentations, write solution design documents, respond to RFI/RFQ/RFPs
- Create point of view documents for customers.
- Work closely with teams like Solution consultants, Product, Engineering & various cross functional teams to create winning proposals.
- Lead important projects that require guidance to project team to ensure delivery of quality outcomes.
- Achieve sales target for the region.
- Able to independently resolve complex projects, issues, challenges encountered.
- Operationally responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievement of results within the job area and may also impact a wider operational area.
- Self-driven, capable of identifying key issues and priorities and focusing on these to deliver required results with minimal direction and supervision.
- Should have the relevant Industry certifications across various technology domains.
Behavioral
- Should be Able to articulate the value proposition and bring the TCO and RoI benefits as appreciated by the customer.
- Ability to seamlessly work with various cross functional teams to put together a wining solution proposal meeting the customer's technical requirements.
- Ability to work as a team player. Should have strong learning aptitude to learn new technologies.

c) Work Experience
- Should have 7-15 Yrs. of experience. With 4 to 6 years in Presales.
- Experience of catering to Large Enterprises & SMB customers
- Exposure towards working on RFIs/RFQs/RFPs
