Client Relations Specialist

About the Role As the first point of contact, the Client Relations Specialist will provide exceptional phone and email support to our customers. With superior emotional intelligence, the Specialist will skillfully deescalate tense situations and build strong relationships with our clients. This role requires level 1 technical troubleshooting abilities and project management skills.

- Provide phone and email support to customers (10-15 calls and 25-30 emails daily)
- Create and manage service tickets to completion
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Act as the first point of customer service contact
- Develop and nurture customer relationships
- Perform soft selling
- Schedule preventative maintenance (PM)
- Place orders for consumables for customers
- Deescalate tense situations
- Communicate information across departments
- Stay informed about current company policies, procedures, and directives
- Continuously improve support for internal and external customers
- Be proficient in the ERP system NetSuite Oracle

Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct reports but assists in mentoring peers and other departments as needed.
Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The employee is occasionally required to sit or stand for up to 8 hours.
Travel This position requires 0% travel as needed.
Work Authorization Documentation showing eligibility to work in the United States will be required.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of customer service experience
Skills Required
- Positive attitude and approach to job responsibilities and the team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
