Job Description

Mission :


The Parent Relations Specialist is responsible for increasing the number of new families enrolling their children at the International French School (Singapore) (IFS) and maintaining strong relationships with both francophone and international families and communities. To achieve this, the Specialist prospects for new families, informs them, and convincingly showcases IFS and its programs.

Activities:

Recruitment of New Families and Students:

  • Understand and translate the school's educational offerings into attractive commercial terms.

  • Analyze and understand the needs of families and provide appropriate responses.

  • Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure a quick and friendly enrollment process.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for families seeking information about the International French School (Singapore): handling calls, emails, appointments, answering questions, etc.

  • Prioritize tours for new families.

  • Introduce families to the organization of IFS and provide information on the school's operations, academic programs, and extracurricular activities.

  • Implement actions to attract new students, such as participating in education fairs, telemarketing activities, email campaigns, school tours (both in-person and virtual), etc.

Promotion of the School:

  • Propose and implement a systematic prospecting strategy targeting parents.

  • Write and distribute newsletters to potential families and emails regarding school events, meetings, and educational projects.

  • In collaboration with the communication and marketing team, identify themes to be shared on the school's website and social media with relevant information for parents.

  • Support the promotion operations of the IFS team, for example, by participating in fairs, conferences, or specific events related to education or to raise awareness of the school within targeted communities.


Partnerships and Networking:

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with francophone and international organizations and other educational institutions to create recruitment and collaboration opportunities (at least one event per quarter).

  • Participate in conferences, trade shows, and community events to promote the school and expand the network of contacts.



Skills, aptitudes, training required :


  • Bachelor degree with 5 years experience in sales, ideally B2C

  • Knowledge of the education system is a plus

  • Results oriented

  • High ability to convince

  • Enjoy working on the ground and customer contact

  • Dynamic and excellent interpersonal skills

  • Flexibility and availability (evening events)

  • Team player

  • Very good writing and speaking skills

  • Full proficiency English required, both spoken and written in order to communicate with international families

  • Good command of Microsoft Office

  • Web skills and WordPress or CMS knowledge is a plus


Working relationship : 

Working closely with the Admissions Executives and the Marketing & Communication Department, and the FLSCO and French Passerelle teachers.


Working conditions :

  • Full-time fixed term contract based on 42h/week from October 2024 to July 2025

  • 8 weeks of annual leave.

  • Salary according to IFS administrative staff grid and experience (specialist 3)

Mission :


Le.a Chargé.e des relations parents a pour enjeu de développer le nombre de nouvelles familles inscrivant leurs enfants à l’International French School (Singapore) (IFS) et maintenir des relations solides avec les familles et les communautés francophones et internationales. Pour cela, il.elle prospecte les familles, les informe, et leur fait découvrir de façon convaincante l’IFS et ses programmes.


Activités :

Recrutement de nouvelles familles et élèves :

  • Comprendre et traduire en termes commerciaux attractifs l’offre pédagogique de l’école

  • Analyser et comprendre les besoins des familles et leur apporter des réponses adaptées

  • Collaborer avec l'équipe des admissions pour s'assurer que le processus d'inscription est rapide et convivial.

  • Être le point de contact privilégié des familles souhaitant obtenir des informations sur l’International French School (Singapore) : accueil (téléphone, mail, rendez-vous), réponses aux questions, etc

  • Effectuer les visites des nouvelles familles en priorité

  • Présenter aux familles l’organisation de l’IFS et fournir des informations sur le fonctionnement de l'école, les programmes scolaires, et les activités parascolaires,...

  • Mettre en œuvre des actions pour attirer de nouveaux élèves, notamment par le biais de salons d’éducation, d’actions de prospection téléphonique, campagnes d’e-mailings, visites de l’école (en-personne et virtuelles), etc


Promotion de l’école :

  • Proposer et mettre en place une stratégie de prospection systématique de la cible parents

  • Rédiger et diffuser des bulletins d’information aux potentielles familles ainsi que des courriels concernant les événements scolaires, les réunions, et les projets éducatifs.

  • En collaboration avec l’équipe communication & marketing, identifier les thématiques à diffuser sur le site web de l’école et les réseaux sociaux avec des informations pertinentes pour les parents.

  • Soutenir les opérations de promotion de l’IFS l’équipe, par exemple en participant à des salons, des conférences ou des événements spécifiques liés à l’éducation ou pour faire connaître l’école auprès de communauté ciblée)


Partenariats et Réseautage :

  • Développer et maintenir des partenariats avec des organisations francophones et internationales, et d’autres établissements éducatifs pour créer des opportunités de recrutement et de collaboration (1 événement par trimestre au minimum)

  • Participer à des conférences, des salons professionnels, et des événements communautaires pour promouvoir l’école et élargir le réseau de contacts.


Compétences, aptitudes, formation requises :

  • Bac+3 avec une expérience de 5 ans en vente, idéalement B to C

  • La connaissance des systèmes éducatifs est un plus

  • Orientation résultats

  • Forte capacité de conviction

  • Goût pour le terrain et le contact client.

  • Dynamisme et excellente aisance relationnelle

  • Flexibilité et disponibilité (événements le soir)

  • Sens du travail en équipe

  • Très bonne expression écrite et orale

  • Maîtrise de la langue anglaise pour communiquer avec les familles internationales

  • Bonne maîtrise des logiciels de bureautique

  • La maîtrise de WordPress ou d’un “Content Management System » serait un atout

Travaille en étroite collaboration avec les chargées des Admissions, le service Marketing & communication.

  • Contrat à durée déterminée à temps plein base 42h/semaine from d'Octobre 2024 à Juillet 2025
