Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Network & Voice Alerts through deployed NMS solutions (e.g., Broadcom NMS, SolarWinds, Zabbix).
  • Perform alert management and reporting within 5 minutes of receiving alerts.
  • Log calls and raise tickets with Vendors / OEMs / Service Desk / ISPs for Network & Voice-related issues.
  • Ensure timely communication with stakeholders on incident status and updates.
  • Execute timely follow-ups & escalations with service providers to ensure issue resolution.
  • Manage closure and follow-up of Incident Tickets and Service Requests (SRs) through ITSM tools.
  • Maintain updated records of all circuit details and vendor escalation matrices.
  • Work within the defined ITIL framework and adhere to established processes.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of Networking concepts and NOC environment.
  • Familiarity with Network Monitoring tools such as Broadcom NMS, SolarWinds, Zabbix.
  • Ticketing knowledge using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, ManageEngine.
  • Working knowledge of Alerts, Traps, and NMS/ITSM workflows.
  • Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced 24x7 environment with strong focus on SLA adherence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification(s) in ITIL Foundation or basic Networking (CCNA / CompTIA Network+) is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in Network Monitoring / Voice Monitoring support roles.
