Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Territory Sales Manager to drive sales and market expansion for Kovax Abrasives South Asia Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing sales operations in their respective regions (North, East, West, and South of India). The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to meet the company’s sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Management: Lead and manage sales activities within the assigned region, ensuring that monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets are met.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base by establishing strong relationships with key clients and distributors.
- Customer Relationship Management: Foster long-term relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies effectively.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, customer support, and product management) to ensure smooth execution of sales plans and customer satisfaction.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s product portfolio and provide technical guidance to customers where necessary.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for senior management.
- Regional Presence: Manage a team of sales executives in the assigned territories, providing leadership, training, and support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial products sector.
- Territory Knowledge: Strong understanding of the assigned region and local markets.
- Sales Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the abrasives, construction, or manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in a competitive market.
