The Opportunity:
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will have a direct responsibility for enhancing ISS's ability to attract and engage the best talent across the India market. You will be entrusted with the entire recruitment cycle, an ongoing quest to discover talent, build a strong employment brand, and ensure great relationships with candidates, stakeholders and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and own the Recruitment cycle which includes working closely with various stakeholders in assigned service areas, business units or departments to source, select and hire qualified candidates to fill vacant positions using cost-effective techniques and in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop comprehensive job descriptions
- Utilize a variety of sourcing methods to identify and attract qualified candidates, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals
- Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders, providing guidance and support throughout the interview process
- Ensuring coordination with prospective candidates for their smooth onboarding
- Manage applicant flow to ensure availability of qualified candidates and compliance with diversity hiring goals
- Managing the requirements of the service lines within stipulated timelines, cost and quality
- Establish and develop effective working relationships with all stakeholders - internal and external alike
- Responsible for effectively communicating the employer brand with potential talent and forging strong partnerships with the team and relevant stakeholders
- Focus on increasing diversity ratio among new hires across business lines
- Participating in various TA initiatives including Competition Mapping, employer branding, etc.
- Preparing and presenting various data & reports as requested
Desired Experience & Competencies:
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of recruitment techniques, sourcing methods, and candidate assessment strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
