Sales Manager

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of the sales process, excel at lead research, relationship building, and setting up opportunities for sales closures. As the first point of contact for prospects, the role demands a quick learner with excellent communication skills, the ability to articulate our value proposition, and the strategic mindset to tailor approaches based on the customer’s needs.

Objectives of the Role
- Represent Divami’s design and engineering competencies by leveraging research and expertise to showcase how our solutions meet customer demands in India & APAC markets.- Generate new leads, nurture relationships, and identify new sales opportunities.- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects, ensuring smooth progression through the sales funnel.- Refine and improve lead-generation strategies while contributing to deal closures.- Adapt communication styles and strategies to resonate with different customers - ranging from formal discussions to engaging, humor-infused conversations.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential customers to generate sales-qualified leads (SQLs) for the India & APAC regions.- Schedule and conduct first-level meetings with C-level executives (remote and in-person).- Utilize CRM tools, cold calls, and email campaigns to generate sales opportunities.- Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospects, progressing them to deal closure.- Proactively explore new business opportunities and market segments.- Collaborate with the team to refine strategies and ensure target achievement.- Report progress and results to the Sales Director (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly).
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working in sales for India/APAC markets, with a proven track record of exceeding lead-generation targets.- Strong communication skills (phone, email, and in-person).- Creative problem-solving ability with a strategic and analytical mindset.- Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM and email marketing tools.- Demonstrated ability to adapt and tailor sales approaches for different customer types.- Strong desire to grow within a sales organization and contribute to its success.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in selling design services or working in the design/product engineering or IT Services domain.- Ability to grasp and present design methodologies or technical solutions effectively.
