Pre Sales Consultant – BFSI (Mortgage) (Non-IT)

Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and domain-driven Solutions Architect / Pre-Sales Specialist with deep expertise in the US BFSI industry. This role will focus on designing and driving transformative business solutions across BFSI industry processes. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to US mortgage life cycle and transformation initiatives within banking and lending environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and redesign current-state business processes across banking, lending, and mortgage servicing to identify areas for improvement and value creation.
  • Design scalable solutions for functions including lead generation, underwriting, loan processing, servicing, collections, compliance, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with sales executives, clients, and stakeholders to gather requirements and build customized solution frameworks aligned to US financial regulations.
  • Develop solution blueprints, business capability models, and process maps using industry-standard methods and tools.
  • Lead and support pre-sales engagements by presenting solution architectures and domain-specific proposals.
  • Act as a bridge between business teams and technical groups, translating functional needs into actionable deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Insurance, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in the BFSI domain, with 4+ years specifically in US Mortgage.
  • Proven experience in pre-sales solutioning for US clients.
  • Strong understanding of US mortgage processes including origination, servicing, default management, and investor reporting.
  • Strong MS Office skills, capability presentations/pitch decks/proposals development, etc.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as Six Sigma.
  • Experience in digital transformation or operational excellence programs.

Familiarity with platforms such as Encompass, Empower, Salesforce (financial services vertical), or core banking solutions
