Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai for a South Indian Master Chef. The South Indian Master Chef will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of South Indian dishes with authenticity and creativity. Daily tasks include menu planning, ingredient sourcing, food preparation, cooking, and plating. The Chef will also ensure kitchen hygiene, staff coordination, and compliance with safety regulations. The role demands a commitment to quality, flavor, and presentation, while also supporting sustainable practices.
Qualifications
- Expertise in South Indian cuisine, including traditional and modern recipes
- Menu planning and innovative culinary skills
- Experience in kitchen management and staff coordination
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Exceptional flavor profiling and seasoning skills
- Ability to adapt recipes for special dietary requirements
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to sustainable cooking and sourcing practices
