Job Description of Zonal Distribution Manager (ZDM)


Location: We have this vacancy in 15 different zones. AP & TS, Bihar, Delhi NCR, Greater Punjab, Gujarat, JH & OD, KARNATAKA, MPCG, Mumbai, NESA, Rajasthan,, ROM, TN & KL, UP


Reporting Matrix: Dotted Line to ZH , Solid line to Distribution Lead


Zonal Distribution Manager is a key role which acts as a Navigator to the Zonal Head to support him to build a strong & sustainable Distribution Network which is a fulcrum to building True Retail , Premiumisation and strengthening our market share in offline space


Roles and responsibilities:

Distribution Life Cycle Management

  • Longlisting and shortlisting of DBR partners for final Selection as per process
  • Coordination with various departments for onboarding and appointment of DBR , right from document collection to first billing planning
  • Training of DBR and team for various aspects of business ( PRM/Mi Smart /CN process etc)
  • FOS onboarding & mapping on Mi Smart app
  • Quarterly ZDC collection and facilitating settlement of adhoc claims
  • Quarterly ROI collection and discussion with partner
  • Preparing DBRwise monthly targets and driving SI of all categories
  • Periodic check and review of DBR Infra
  • Driving the DBR for Lakshya Achievement to ensure min 70% DBRs qualify month on month basis
  • Performance review of bottom performing DBRs basis Health Score card and planning corrective actions
  • FOS onboarding , FOS checkin and visit tracker
  • DBR stock management and highlighting gaps and ensuring plugging of the same
  • Half Yearly RU update working with sales team. First checker of RU at region before it gets sent to HO
  • Distribution KPIs like Page 3, MSN, SI, Sell Thru will be his KPIs, WoD Expansion


Foundation Building KPIs

  • Expanding into tier 3 and below towns through 3 Tier Operations
  • Planning WOD expansion & Tracking Health of WOD ( DAO / Zero stock / unmanned Throughput ,True WOD & Hygiene)
  • SOP adherence for daily FOS gate meeting
  • Monthly bottom score DBR review basis pH score and action planning
  • SOP adherence for FOS Management : Onboarding, training ,attendance , Mi Smart adoption ,OL visit , tgt vs achvmt
  • Tracking and driving Non Phone Achvmt & contribution
  • Driving retail MSN adherence
  • Ownership & Maintenance of Standardized DBR performance folio
  • Bottom's up Forecasting & tracking accuracy
  • Driving Monthly DBR & retail NDC adherence via Mi Retail
  • Creating Joint Business Plan with Partners on a quarterly business


Qualification: Any graduation with relevant experience
