We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Purchase Department as a Associate. The Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in sourcing suppliers and vendors for various goods and services required by the company.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
Prepare purchase orders, request for quotations (RFQs), and other procurement documents.
Review and analyze supplier proposals, negotiate terms and conditions, and finalize contracts.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and related documents.
Assist in inventory management and optimization efforts.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in procurement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management of 2 to 3 years is preferred is an add-on advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
