South Asia and Meta regions are Strategic Priorities for Glanbia with an ambition towards 4X growth and rapid scale up, both structurally and with system capability.

We are looking for an Insights expert who will influence marketing and business strategy and lead with the scale of geographies crossing boundaries of India, Middle East, Turkey and Africa, as a member of marketing leadership team.

This role has an influential and integral part to play in the growth strategy of the business for which it will require to work closely with the country as well as Region leadership teams. This would be done by defining core insight for brands, connecting to consumers and using analytics to determine growth insights. This role offers an opportunity to craft a strong insights function for two diverse regions, which will be vital to the delivery of the step change growth that forms a core part of GPN’s EMEA vision. It requires to liaison with the global insights team as well offering a strong experience.

The incumbent must be able to effectively create impact individually in such a rapidly scaling entrepreneurial environment.

This permanent position will report to the Head of Marketing, India .

Defining Core Insights for Brands: Understanding consumer preferences, buying patterns, and decision-making processes by managing research studies. Connecting to Consumers: Conducting focus groups, concept tests or analysing data from monthly tracks in order to gain deeper insights. Using Analytics for Growth Insights: Predicting future trends and staying ahead of the curve. Work with the Analytics agency to draw insights from data collected from ECOM agency partners. Work closely with the Performance Marketing agencies to analyse data on DTC through Google analytics as well as search marketing on Amazon and Flipkart. Measurement and Reporting: Tracking and reporting market size, growth, share, penetration and pricing trends through external reports and tools. Supporting NPD agenda: Validation and scoping for Innovation and commercialization of NPDs. Conducting product tests through CLTs. Collaboration with Leadership Teams: Working closely with country and regional leadership teams to align insights with business growth strategies. Identification of consumer trends to inform channel/ brand/ country strategies and business planning. Global Insights Liaison: Coordinating with the global insights team to ensure consistency and alignment across regions. Align with Global Intelligence and Insight function to deliver standardised and comparable data in the identification of consumer profiling. Management and interpretation of regional brand health tracker for all brands across. Utilize global tools and frameworks to analyse and determine key triggers and barriers in the consumer journey. Management of external suppliers in project delivery and reporting for the market.

The Skills you will bring to the team

Experience: 8-10 years’ experience in a FMCG consumer insight role or leading market research groups. Research: Experience of writing and managing qualitative and quantitative research project including consumer questionnaires. Data Analytics: Has delivered measurement reports by analysing data and presenting it in a clear manner Insights: Proven ability in providing consumer, brand and category insights Communication: Strong influencing and communication skills. Passion for Fitness: Passion for the sports nutrition industry.
