**Job Title:** Banquet Steward
**Department:** Food & Beverage – Banquets
**Location:** Peninsula Redpine Hotel, Andheri East, Mumbai
**Reports To:** Banquet Manager / F\&B Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Banquet Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of the banquet areas. The role includes setting up for events, supporting food & beverage service, ensuring hygiene standards, and assisting the banquet team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in setting up banquet halls for events (tables, chairs, linen, cutlery, and glassware).
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the banquet kitchen, service areas, and storage.
* Support banquet servers in clearing tables and resetting as needed during events.
* Transport food, beverages, and equipment between kitchen and banquet areas.
* Ensure all equipment and service ware are properly cleaned, polished, and stored.
* Assist in waste segregation and maintain proper sanitation standards.
* Follow hotel safety and hygiene protocols strictly.
* Provide support to the F\&B team to ensure smooth banquet operations.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in F\&B or banquet operations preferred (freshers can apply).
* Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
* Physical stamina to handle lifting, carrying, and standing for extended hours.
* Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
* Flexibility to work on shifts, weekends, and holidays.
