Position: Desktop Support Engineer (Level 2)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer (Level 2) to join our IT team. In this role, you will provide advanced technical support, resolve complex issues, and ensure the stability and performance of desktop systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert-level technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware and software issues.

Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of desktop infrastructure and related technologies.

Collaborate with Level 1 support engineers to escalate and resolve challenging technical problems.

Lead and participate in desktop software and hardware deployment projects.

Perform system upgrades and patches to ensure security and optimal performance.

Create and maintain technical documentation, including procedures and guides.

Assist in planning and executing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for desktop systems.

Conduct regular performance monitoring and optimization of desktop environments.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve desktop infrastructure.

Mentor and provide training to Level 1 Desktop Support Engineers.

Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
