Navaera Worldwide is looking for Associate IT Desktop Support to join our team and embark on a rewarding career journey. As an IT Support Professional, your role is to provide technical assistance and support to end-users within the organization.You will be responsible for resolving hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring that computer systems and technology resources are operating effectively.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Technical Support**: Provide first-line support to end-users and troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. Experience with Active Directory and user account management, Group Policy, DNS, Static IP etc.
- **Hardware Maintenance & Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and resolve hardware failures or malfunctions, including desktops, laptops, monitors, keyboards-Mouse, and other equipment. Coordinate repairs and replacements as necessary.
- **Asset Management**: Maintain and manage inventory of all IT hardware (e.g., desktops, laptops, monitor and other devices) and software. Track asset life cycles and ensure proper documentation of hardware and software allocations.
- **Monitoring & Ticket**: Familiarity with ticketing and monitoring system tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Nagios etc.)
- **User Account Management**: Assist with the setup and management of user accounts, including Active Directory management, password resets, and user access control.
- **System Updates & Patch Management**: Ensure that all systems are up to date with the latest software patches and security updates. Perform routine checks for updates on end-user systems.
- **Networking & Connectivity**: Troubleshoot network connectivity issues including LAN, WAN, and internet connectivity (wired/wireless) and assist with VPN and remote access setups.
- **Training and Guidance**: Assist users with basic IT training, software usage, and best practices for technology use for both hardware and software related when required.
**Required Skills**:
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in desktop support or a similar IT support role.
- Expertise in hardware troubleshooting, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Experience with asset management processes and tools, including tracking IT hardware inventory.
- Good understanding of networking concepts (IP configuration, DNS, VPN, Static IP etc.).
- Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange user account management and VM Ware is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently for zero downtime.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with good analytical skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Graduate with B.Tech/B.E. (Computer Science or Computer Engineering).
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, N+ or any related Microsoft Certificate (optional).
- A collaborative and supportive work environment and Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience working for a MNC is a plus.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
