The role of the Solution Consultant is essential to helping Chargebee achieve our mission by providing subscription consulting expertise, designing effective subscription billing and revenue management solutions, and supporting our customers' growth goals and business outcomes through the use of our powerful platform.
Introduction:
Chargebee is looking for an exceptional, Solution Consultant who is passionate about subscriptions, memberships, and recurring business models across all verticals and industries. You will work with the Sales team during the evaluation process, to handhold prospects and provide them guidance on understanding Chargebee.
As a Solution Consultant, you will become an industry expert in Subscriptions and own the solution design and strategy for all your clients. Your growth mindset and entrepreneurial focus will help you consistently innovate and strive to help our customers accelerate their recurring revenue growth through the use of our powerful Subscription Revenue Management product suite.
What you will be doing…
- Become the subscription revenue expert in Chargebee’s platform
- Act as the subject matter expert and strategic technical counterpart to Account Executives
- Guide prospects through their journey as they launch or scale their subscription business globally
- Conduct workshops, deliver product demonstrations, configure tailored solutions, and present value propositions to outline how we can help customers achieve their business outcomes
- Design best-practice solution architectures and process flows/workflows to help customers visualize their path to a better, more profitable future
- Outline the scope of the project, and collaborate with our Professional Services team to make sure the design and approach is sound and the customer's experience/time to value is streamlined
- Being a critical member in the field, you will act as the voice of the customer and provide valuable feedback and recommendations to our Product Management and Sales Leadership teams
What will help you be hyper-successful…
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, related fields or equivalent practical experience
- 3-7 years of experience in a customer-facing technical or consulting role
- Energetic and driven, hands-on individuals with a positive attitude
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- A sound understanding of SaaS platforms and how integrations work via APIs
- Experience in requirements gathering, use-case identification, fit-gap analysis, multi-product solution design, and system integration
- Strong business acumen and experience working with C-level executives translating how technology solutions can solve their business challenges.
What will make you stand out…
- A basic understanding of accounting principles, financial systems, and order-to-revenue or quote-to-cash processes
- Experience with web development, enterprise systems architecture, and cloud-based integration platforms (iPaaS) is strongly desired
- Prior experience selling financial SaaS applications such as subscription billing or revenue management solutions will set you apart from the rest
