Job Description: Cloud Presales (KPMG Global Services)
The Presales Cloud Specialist will work directly with pursuit teams and contribute to the production of compelling and brand compliant proposals.
Work you’ll do:
As a Presales Cloud Specialist, will work directly with the Sales and Consulting Team, supporting the broader members as well as pursuit teams across KPMG Consulting. The role will have the responsibility of supporting consulting and pursuits and maintaining knowledge assets in content repositories with an objective to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and overall quality of pursuit deliverables.
Specific responsibilities include: Support proposal development and other pursuit activities
Work with other team members to assess existing proposal content and other firm information to develop the initial proposal draft
Should have the knowledge and understanding of cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, AWS, etc and related tools used in these areas to provide Cloud Strategy, Transformation, Cloud Native, APIs and Integrations services
Should have prior experience Cloud RFx Solutioning and presales and knowledge of areas such as Cloud Architecture, Cloud Engineering, Cloud DevOps, Automation, Networking, Cloud Landing Zone and Cloud migration
Prior experience in putting together presales content and collateral for sections related to creating a business case for cloud, putting together a cloud strategy in sync with business priorities, migration approach, approach for cloud native, APIs and Integration services development
Experience of putting together a point-of-view for building a cloud-centric enterprise and knowledge of implementing end-to-end integration programs
Research multiple sources of content and liaise with team members to seek firm-specific content, to include practitioner counts, firm and practice profiles, and risk and legal questions
Provide, review of content for accuracy in meeting the RFP requirement and readability, including synthesizing content brought together from multiple sources
In a coordinator role, facilitate the development of a Tracker in collaboration with the pursuit team, develop response templates, set up a collaboration space, and coordinate/monitor the progress against milestones of the RFP/RFI response preparation
Good understanding of Cloud Suitability Analysis IT Transformation and Digital Transformation, Cloud Costing, TCO Analysis and Cost Optimization, Cloud Discovery, Readiness Assessment
Ability to move across multiple assignments and adjust multiple and competing priorities and meet deadlines
Should have the ability to keep current with an aptitude for learning new technologies
Facilitate collection, review, editing, and upload of pursuit content for inclusion in the content repository
Facilitate the continuous improvement of sales content across all industries and operating portfolios and offerings including Operate
Should have the ability to work and contribute in a team environment and strong client management & relationship building skills
Execute review procedures to keep content current and accurate
Manage stakeholder satisfaction feedback and tie insights into process improvement
Proactively search for new ways to coordinate and integrate with other teams
Work in a collaborative manner with solution architects and consultants in an onshore-offshore model
Has good understanding of finances, margins and profitability
Good understanding and solution experience of Application Modernization and Portfolio Assessment Cloud / DC Architecture and Landing Zone Design understanding, Cloud Migration and migration tools evaluation (Good to have)
Strong verbal and written English communication skills, High proficiency in MS Office products
Proactive, self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance
Must to Have : A professional certification on any public cloud service (AWS/AZURE/GCP)
