JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB TITLE:  Engineer / Senior Engineer Sales 

PURPOSE OF JOB:

Responsible for managing the sales in Gujrat and Daman and Diu. This will include the management of key end customers, OEM’s and specialist channel partners. The incumbent in this

role will be expected to work under the supervision / guidance of west business incharge towards defined key goals including Sales turnover, profitability,new product growth and key territory growth.

KEY SKILLS:

A Sales & Business Development Professional preferably holding a degree in BE or Btech (Mechanical engineers will be prefered). 4-8 years experience of selling, preferably working for companies within the Industrial manufactured products sales vertical. He / She will demonstrate a sound understanding of the Industrial Sales market in Gujrat and Daman and Diu and the customers as well as the key issues affecting the markets. He / She will also have demonstrable experience in working with these markets and a deep understandingof the decision making process and the complex nature of the major projects. Must be strong in Negotiation with Customers. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Hindi is essential. A high degree of competence in presentation and customer handling is required. Must have sound knowledge of Must be comfortable with CRM tools like ZOHO, Salesforce etc.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To explore new customers, applications and markets. 

2. Understand the process applications and generating new inquires for Blowers .

3. Provide techno- commercial support to all the customers.

4. Handle channel partners in Gujrat and Daman and Diu and expand the business through channels. 

5. To handle specified Gujrat and Daman and Diu, independently.

6. Prepare weekly visit plans in view of serving all the existing customers and to add new customers in the portfolio. 

7. Prepare monthly sales projections in view of annual sales targets. 

8. To retain all the existing customers and focus on generating more revenue from them.

9. To provide after sales support to the customers in close coordination with the service team.

10. Keep close eye on the competitor activities and to develop & implement sound strategy to counter competition.
