Currently serving over 250 factories in chemicals, ceramics, and packaging, Magma has grown 2x year-on-year since its incorporation in 2022.
Role Description
We seek a dynamic and results-driven Sales Head to lead our sales vertical in the chemicals sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in chemical sales and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical sales, with specific experience in distilled solvents. The candidate must lead and clearly understand onboarding distillation units as supply partners and create an end-to-end ecosystem.

- Should be an aggressive go-getter with high energy levels and must have an inherent hunger for sales.
- Proven capability to develop and manage sales opportunities from beginning to end including qualification, proposal creation, negotiation, and closing.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market growth.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales vertical to optimize performance and foster a high-performance culture.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and new business opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Work with the Vertical leads / Other BUs to drive business for integrated sales focus in the region
- Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges.
- Manage the sales budget, including setting spending limits and monitoring return on investment (ROI)
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
2. Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in sales management within the chemical industry.
3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
6. Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic plans.
7. Ability to build relationships with high-level clients and stakeholders
8. Willingness to travel as required.
