About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic, results-oriented Direct Sales Head to lead and manage our direct sales team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales management, a strong grasp of the sales process, and a proven ability to drive revenue growth. This leadership role requires a candidate who can develop and implement effective sales strategies, mentor a high-performing sales team, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development:
  • Design and execute comprehensive direct sales strategies aligned with company revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand market share and business growth.
  • Team Leadership and Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the direct sales team to meet and surpass sales goals.
  • Provide coaching, training, and development to enhance the team's skills and performance levels.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring:
  • Track and evaluate sales metrics to assess performance and identify improvement areas.
  • Present regular sales performance reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective account management and issue resolution.
  • Sales Process Optimization:
  • Streamline the sales process to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement industry best practices and sales tools to enhance team productivity.
  • Market Analysis and Competitor Intelligence:
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
  • Leverage market insights to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and broader business objectives.
  • Provide feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing efforts.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; Engineering background preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior sales management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate.
  • Strategic thinker with a history of developing and executing successful sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Data-driven with the ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
