Role Overview
The HR Associate Onboarding & Employee Support is responsible for driving a seamless onboarding experience for new associates, supporting employees throughout their lifecycle, and assisting in employee data management, compliance, and exit formalities. This role acts as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for associates, ensuring smooth induction, effective query resolution, and a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Support
- Organize and coordinate onboarding activities including induction sessions, onboarding materials, and system/account setups.
- Act as first-level SPOC for new joiners, addressing basic queries, providing guidance, and supporting with insurance-related assistance.
Documentation & Data Management
- Collect and verify required employee documents (ID proofs, compliance forms, etc.) and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain data in compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Employee Queries & Grievances
- Address employee queries regarding policies, payroll, benefits, and workplace concerns.
- Escalate grievances where necessary and support in timely resolution.
Training Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate training sessions, send reminders, and ensure training materials are available.
Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain proper documentation as per statutory and company standards.
- Generate regular MIS reports on onboarding, employee support, and attrition insights.
Exit & Attrition Management
- Support exit formalities and ensure a smooth process for outgoing associates.
- Conduct exit interviews/calls, analyze attrition data, and prepare monthly reports for management.
Key Skills Required
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving ability and empathy in handling employee concerns
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of HR processes, compliance, and labor laws
- Ability to multitask and manage sensitive employee data with confidentiality
