Job Title: Key Account Manager - Sales (B2B, HoReCa Sector)
Job Summary:
The Key Account Manager in Sales (B2B) is responsible for managing and expanding relationships within the HoReCa sector (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés ). This role focuses on delivering frozen food solutions to clients, maximizing revenue, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will drive sales strategies and foster long-term partnerships with key accounts to achieve company growth goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Sales Growth
• Develop and manage a portfolio of key accounts within the HoReCa sector to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and expand relationships through upselling and cross-selling frozen food products.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and action plans for ongoing account management.
Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to understand their needs and align products accordingly.
• Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their requirements and resolving any issues to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
• Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess partnership progress and strategize improvements.
Sales Strategy & Market Analysis
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop B2B sales strategies tailored to the HoReCa sector.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify and leverage sales opportunities.
• Provide feedback on market conditions to assist with product development and pricing strategies.
Negotiation & Contract Management
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close deals that are beneficial to both the client and the company.
• Ensure contract compliance and manage renewals, maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of client contracts and service agreements.
Collaboration & Cross-functional Coordination
• Work closely with internal teams such as logistics, marketing, and customer service to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery of frozen food products.
• Liaise with production teams to ensure that product quality and availability meet customer expectations.
Qualifications:
• MBA in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with a specialization in frozen foods preferred.
• 7-8 years of proven experience in B2B sales, with a strong focus on the HoReCa sector.
• Demonstrated experience managing key accounts, building client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
• Strong understanding of frozen food products and industry standards.
Preferred Skills:
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and deliver results in a competitive environment.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite.
• QA certifications, with BRC (British Retail Consortium) certification and auditioning, in addition to FSSC 22000.
Position Summary:
