
National Sales Head- Bancassurance

Job Purpose
To lead, strategize, and manage the bancassurance sales function at a national level by building strong partnerships with banking stakeholders, driving sales productivity, and ensuring sustainable business growth across all regions.
Key Responsibilities
-Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the national sales strategy for bancassurance in alignment with business goals.
- Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion within the banks network.
- Drive innovation in sales processes, customer engagement, and product positioning.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Achieve top-line and bottom-line targets through effective sales management.
- Monitor performance metrics across regions and ensure consistent business delivery.
- Drive cross-selling and upselling initiatives to maximize revenue per customer.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership of partner banks.
- Act as the primary liaison between the bank and the insurance company.
- Negotiate and finalize business agreements, revenue-sharing models, and joint initiatives.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate zonal/regional sales heads to deliver results.
- Foster a high-performance culture through training, performance reviews, and succession planning.
- Ensure adherence to compliance, ethics, and regulatory standards across the sales force.
Operational Excellence
- Optimize sales processes, reporting mechanisms, and MIS for effective decision-making.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Implement digital sales tools and analytics to enhance productivity.
