Role & responsibilities

1 Formulate policies and planning strategies based on Management guideline.

2 Overall responsible for production, QA, maintenance, purchase, stores, work environment,

health and safety of employees, other related functions.

3 To review customer complaint, field return parts analyzed & giving prompt solutions to

customer.

4 To visit customer periodically for knowing the needs of customer.

5 To ensure delivery performance for all customers are achieved as per customer requirement. 6 To review the trends of objectives and discuss the same with the MRM team for

implementation.

7 To prepare the weekly, monthly reports & management review reports and present to

the management review meeting

8 To ensure morale, motivations and good relations among the people across all plants.

9 To inform customer whenever key changes related to man, machine and other facilities in the

organisation as per customer requirements.

10 To identify the functional risk of QMS processes, internal, external and interested parties. 11 To review the feasibility for the new product under new development

12 To liaise with customer, external auditor and other statutory bodies in dealing with audits

and support team to close non conformities. Qualified to internal auditor for IATF 16949,

ISO 14001 & ISO 45001, will be an added advantage

13 To review the compliance of all company laws formalities, applicable legal and other

requirements. 14 To reduce the cost of production by identifying & reducing the waste

15 To ensure continual improvement projects are identified & implemented & monitored

16 Up gradation of process, technology and systems in the manufacturing processes.

17 To ensure government, Safety, environmental regulation, storage, acquisition.

18 To ensure the personnel safety rules are followed and necessary PPE is provided, used at

various stages of production process.

19 Lead the team in managing the firm.

20 Contingency plan execution when utility interruption, Labor shortage, Key equipment failure

and field returns.

21 Responsible for providing required training to employees.

22 To monitor & co-ordinate with production, sales for daily Production, dispatch plan

adherence.

23 Responsible for SCs selection & product development activities.

24 Knowledge of Steel and its grade and material properties, and responsible for APQP

activities.

25 Guide the team of engineers on Core tool implementation

26 To analyze quality risk, cost, lead time & Critical path during APQP stages.

27 To review and analyze the budget data, and make actions for achieving them

28 To review the Preventive maintenance, breakdowns and spare parts list and support team in

resolving machine breakdown

29 Able to handle breakdown, identify trouble shooting and helping team to solve electrical and

maintenance team will be an added advantage

30 To initiate the capital requirement as per the management directions and generated from

review meetings

31 To review the raw material requirement for new product development, and prepare the

master data for specifications and ensure it for development of new parts.

32 Familiar with usage of SAP activities and leading team for stock taking and stock uploading

in the quarterly and annual stock activity
