
Sales Engineer

Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Create and implement sales strategies for specified geography and accounts.
- Identify sales opportunities and execute systematic sales approaches.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and sales plans.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop relationships with key accounts and distribution partners.
- Work with engineering and supply chain personnel at key accounts.
- Manage and support distribution sales branches.
- Maintain high service levels to current customers.
- Develop further opportunities with current customers.
- Develop targeted new customers.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional departments.
- Provide account management for all customer inquiries.
- Build intra-company teamwork between Customer Service/Production and customer needs.
Market and Competitive Analysis:
- Provide feedback to the corporate business group on competitive environment and market acceptance of devices.
- Identify opportunities and features for new products/product specs.
- Keep management informed of market trends and adverse issues.
Sales Support and Administration:
- Support Pricing Analyst with major RFQs.
- Forecast annual sales.
- Assess marketplace for vulnerabilities in the development of targeted customer opportunities.
Requirements:
Educational and Professional Background:
- BE in Electrical Engineering or Science degree.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience with a demonstrated track record of growth.
Skills and Competencies:
- Achievement-driven, competitive, and thrives on winning.
- Outgoing, dynamic personality capable of building outstanding relationships.
- Skills in global account management, sales systems, data acquisition and analysis, MS Office, and Salesforce.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Great teamwork and effective interpersonal skills.
- Positive, "can do" attitude focused on sales challenges.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Desire to succeed and grow within the organization.
- Willing and able to travel as needed.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
