JobDescription:

SecurityEngineer. Technical skill set Must have hands on experience withCisco ASA FXOS PaloAlto firewalls and Panorama.Full understanding of Palo Alto Firewallconcepts like Security Zones Security policy ordering Searching andSorting Audit logs Address Sets negatedaddresses User Roles and tables routebased policies addressbooksApplication traffic control etc. Must have hand onCisco ISE for VPNauthentication AAA policycreation . Understanding and experience with routingprotocols Handson Skill on handling Security Incidents and planmitigation. Good understanding of Symantec DLP Should have goodunderstanding and extensive handson experience on various securitytechnologies including Firewalls VPNs IDS/IPS end point securitysolutions (AV HIPS Hard Disk Encryption) strongAuthentication products (RSA SecurID)Content Security Gateways (Cisco IronPortWeb/Mail Security Gateways) Cisco ISETACACS/AAA solutions. Hands on experience in more than onetechnology is preferred Understanding of F5 load balancers. Shouldhave good presentation skills shall be able to participate thereview meetings and be able put across the points of concern Shouldhave Capability to conduct risk analysis impact analysisdependencies on customer/internal teams Knowledge and experience ofworking with ITIL (Information Technical Infrastructure Library)Processes NonTechnical Responsibilities Coordinate with other teammembers for availability of capable resource Ensure quality workreview and validate the technical configuration changes Coordinatewith COE (Centers Of Excellence) resources for resolution oftechnical issues/problems before escalation to OEM (OriginalEquipment Manufacturers)Technical Responsibilities Configuration ofCisco and Palo Alto Firewalls Articulate or highlightrisks/dependencies Participation in an oncall support rotationrequired Firewall Auditing and review access control lists andupdating firewalls as needed Interacting with various teams inmanaging the log management solution. Adhering to highqualitystandards and best practices high performance and scalablerepeatable processes and deliverables in accordance with applicableregulations Analyze troubleshoot and investigate networksecurityrelated incident based on security platform reportingnetwork traffic log files hostbased and automated security alertsEvaluate systems using vulnerability scanners and manual techniquesto verify system security settings and configurations

  • Toclearly understand the clients cybersecurity environment andrespective product.
  • Tomonitor configure and troubleshoot cybersecurity issues and relatedmonitoring tools
  • Toanalyse and validate cybersecurity incidents indetail and help theL3 team with RCAordata or logs collection
  • To enableknowledge transferor trainings through creation or maintenance ofconfiguration documents test plans operational manuals and provideoperational training to L1 team.
  • Toanalyse and finetune cybersecurity policies participate incybersecurity review calls pertaining to change requests andrecommendations on cybersecurity policy changes.
  • Toimplement changes monitor security device performance andimplements performance tuning when necessary.
  • Toprepare analyses and reports to highlight the project progressorchallenges and ensure quality and accuracy to theclient
