  • Designscodes tests debugs and documents software according to Clientsystems quality standards policies and procedures.
  • Analyzes business needs andcreates software solutions.
  • Responsible for preparing design documentation.
  • Prepares test datafor unit string and parallel testing.
  • Evaluates and recommends software andhardware solutions to meet user needs.
  • Resolves customer issues with softwaresolutions and responds to suggestions for improvements andenhancements.
  • Workswith business and development teams to clarify requirements toensure testability.
  • Drafts revises and maintains test plans test cases andautomated test scripts.
  • Executes test procedures according to softwarerequirements specifications Logs defects and makes recommendationsto address defects.
  • Retests software corrections to ensure problems areresolved.
  • Documentsevolution of testing procedures for future replication.
  • May conductperformance and scalability testing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Plansconducts and leads assignments generally involving moderate highbudgets projects or more than one project.
  • Manages user expectations regardingappropriate milestones and deadlines.
  • Assists in training work assignment andchecking of less experienced developers.
  • Serves as technical consultant to leaders inthe IT organization and functional user groups.
  • Subject matter expert in one ormore technical programming specialties; employs expertise as ageneralist of a specialist.
  • Performs estimation efforts on complex projects andtracks progress.
  • Works on the highest level of problems where analysis ofsituations or data requires an indepth evaluation of variousfactors.
  • Documentsevaluates and researches test results; documents evolution oftesting scripts for future replication.
  • Identifies recommends and implements changesto enhance the effectiveness of quality assurance strategies.
Description Responsibility
  • Designbuild and support Enterprise large scale distributed Messagingplatforms including RabbitMQ and Kafka
  • Identify and implement best practices tosupport a highly available platform (considerations includebusiness continuity/disaster recovery backup and restorationrepartitioning zerooutage upgrades etc).
  • Implement and enforce security practices forenterprise messaging platforms
  • Provide Operational support for platform issues toapplication development teams
  • Address performance and scalability challenges posed bynew or changing Kafka producers and consumers.
  • Lead capacity planning andproactive monitoring efforts
  • Work in Agile global team setting and mentor junior teammembers
Essential Skill Requirements
  • 8 to 12 years of experience in middlewareKafka messaging application platforms management and distributedarchitecture/solutions
  • Strong proven experience in managing Kafka forlargescale enterprise distributed systems
  • Experience with monitoring tools such asGrafana Prometheus and Elastic search
  • Deep and extensive knowledge in configurationtroubleshooting optimization of Kafka
  • Agile/scrum fast based delivery experience
  • Experience withRabbitMQ/Other Messaging platforms.
  • Expertise in administration and scaling ofKafka messaging platform.
  • Excellent problem solving and debugging skills forcomplex and largescale messaging platforms.
  • Proficiency with configurationmanagement tools (Ansible/Puppet/Chef)
DesirableSkill Requirements
  • Proven expertise in KubernetesContainer Orchestration Docker Containers.
  • Experience with Opensource technologies
  • Experience withPython/Java/Other programming languages
