Job description:Client is seeking an experienced Engineer with a passionfor building highperformance low maintenance zerodowntime platformsand applications. You will help drive our insurance businesstransformation as we transition from a traditional IT model to atech organization with engineering excellence as its mission whilecocreating the culture of psychological safety and continuousimprovement.PositionDescription:Our Senior Engineer is a keymember of the engineering staff working on Mobile/Web solutionsensuring that we provide a frictionless experience to our customersand maintain the highest standards of protection and availability.Our team thrives and succeeds in delivering high quality technologyproducts and services in a hypergrowth environment where prioritiesshift quickly. The ideal candidate has broad and deep technicalknowledge typically ranging from frontend UIs through backendsystems and all points in between.

Qualifications:Fluency and specialization with at least two modernlanguages such as JavaScript TypeScript JSX Swift Kotlin Dart JavaObjective C C Python or C# including objectorienteddesignExperience building the architecture and design(architecture design patterns reliability and scaling) of new andcurrent systemsExperience in existing OperationalPortals such as Azure DevOps Portal is preferredExperience with application monitoring tools and performanceassessmentsExpertise leveraging performance analysistools to optimize code toward performance improvementsExpertise with Swift ObjectiveC and native iOSframeworksExpertise working on location services coremotion and activity trackingStrong knowledge on variouscore concepts like foreground background processing background taskmanagement multithread programming and resource optimizationtechniquesExperience working on telematics data setsand basic understanding of telematics dataExperiencewith continuous delivery and infrastructure as codeKnowledge of developer tooling across the software development lifecycle (task management source code building deployment operationsrealtime communication)Experience in ApplicationFrameworksExcellent technical skills to assist indeveloping iOS appsExperience with GradleExperience in Risk assessmentStrong demonstratedinterest in mobile is highly desiredStrong desire andcommitment to learning new technologies quicklyExcellent analytical skills and problemsolving abilityAbility to excel in a fastpaced startuplike environmentExperience:4 years ofprofessional software development experience building native iOSApplication3 years of experience in opensourceframeworks2 years of experience with architecture anddesign2 years of experience with AWS GCP Azure oranother cloud serviceEducation:Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Systems or equivalent education orwork experience
