Role Summary: The Growth Head - Media (New Business, Digital Media) would play a crucial role in driving new business growth specifically in the digital/performance media offerings. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of brand advertising, digital marketing, and technology trends. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor and strategist, experienced at growing business for the agency with customers that are looking for best in class digital/performance media solutions - in the process maximizing the agency's cutting edge operating model to achieve desired outcomes for these clients.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Relationships with Prospective Clients:
Establish and nurture relationships with prospective clients in the industry, positioning oneself as a thought leader with a deep understanding of brand advertising and through the digital medium.
Act as a trusted advisor and strategist, providing expert insights and guidance to prospective clients.
Evolve Client's View of Agency Cutting Edge Offerings:
Identify opportunities to evolve the client's perception of what is best in class, displaying the value-added by solutions delivered by the agency across various mediums.
Maximize the agency's operating model and strategic impact to address client's expected outcomes effectively.
Co-create End-to-end Digital Marketing Solutions:
Collaborate with clients & internal teams at the agency to co-create effective end-to-end digital marketing solutions tailored to their specific needs and objectives.
Utilize exceptional knowledge of the digital medium to design strategies that drive results and deliver ROI for clients.
Strategic Development Planning:
Develop key strategic development plans for each client, inclusive of all relevant markets and agency operating companies.
Ensure optimal collaboration between operating companies and alignment with the global service model for each client.
Annual Business Development Plan:
Develop and deliver upon the annual business plan for the agency overall, outlining objectives, strategies, and tactics to drive growth and success.
Carry out QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews to track success & devise pivots as needed)
Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion, forthe agency's product offerings.
Contract Negotiation and Management:
Expertly navigate contract negotiations at the country level, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with client objectives and agency capabilities.
Targeted New Business Development:
Increase client base through targeted and effective new business development conversations, leveraging identified growth opportunities.
Present digital / performance media-based & other emerging technologies rich and cutting-edge offerings to prospective clients to demonstrate value and differentiation.
Specialist Technical Advice:
Provide specialist technical advice on subject areas under the digital media reach and impact.
Proactively involve and collaborate with specialist teams within the agency as needed to deliver optimal solutions for clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred.
Extensive experience (12+ years) in digital media, performance media, digital advertising, or related roles, with a proven track record of success in new business development.
A strong background in both media and creative services to lead business development efforts and drive growth opportunities for the agency.
Must possess a blend of business acumen, creativity, and industry expertise to identify and pursue new business opportunities while also contributing to the creative vision of agency’s projects.
Deep understanding of digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
Experience in contract negotiation and management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
