Proactive sourcing Manager

Inviting applications for the role of S2P (Sourcing) Manager / Asst Manager

As a sourcing buyer you will independently manage the end-to-end sourcing projects. In addition, you also need to support sourcing projects of junior buyers. Your focus should be on creating opportunities for negotiations and driving savings for our client.

Responsibilities

• Proactive sourcing experience is a must. Manage Proactive engagements activity for operational planned spend opportunities within defined operational spend levels.
• Experience in spend analysis, identification of savings opportunities, catalogues, supplier consolidation.
• Negotiation on commercials, Pay Terms etc.
• Procure goods and services, obtains quotation, develops proposals and/or negotiates contracts of low to moderate value/risk consistent with client requirements.
• Good understanding and experience on RFP / RFX / RFQ is required to be managed via formal ERP / procurement tool based sourcing. Understanding of eAuction is mandatory.
• Understanding on upstream and downstream sourcing process, namely S2P and P2P process.
• Manage transactional buying desk activities and support wider category management including raising purchase orders
• Quotation analysis and recommendations, consideration suitability/reliability of suppliers to meet operational requirements and as per Client Procurement Policy/Sourcing guideline.
• Support Drafting of Contract as Client and Senior Buyer instructions
• Manage the savings process end to end right from opportunity identification to creation of project charter and delivering savings. Identification of spend touched vs untouched reporting.
• Engagement with operational teams to review pipeline and track savings opportunities
• Work closely with category managers and business units to establish and deliver procurement requirements, strategic benefits and compliance to existing procurement contracts
• Should be able to effectively manage internal / external customers & stake holders
• Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned
• Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement.
• Act as a single point of contact to the client and maintain good relations.

Minimum Qualifications we seek in you

• Experience of operational sourcing (indirect) and tactical buying. Preferably from the manufacturing sector.
• Hands-on experience on Zycus (preference) / Coupa, Ariba or similar systems for procurement / CRM tools
• Experience on any AI based in take / orchestration tool (eg ORO, Avammo etc) will be beneficial.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Green belt / Black belt / certified lean professional will be preferred.
• Any sourcing / project management certification / course will be a preference.
• US / UK sourcing experience will be preferred.
• Education Min graduate in any stream. Any Master degree would be preferred. Any tech qualification / tech background would be preferred.

• Candidate should be okay to work in US shift. For now, it would be UK shift
