Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager - Sourcing
This is a strategic role within the Procurement Function, reporting into the global Category Management Lead, with overall accountability in the following areas:
- Bring in the required expertise across Infrastructure & Logistics (I&L) categories such as Leases, Infrastructure Services. Facility Management, Engineering, Site Setup, Transport etc.
- To deliver significant Value to Genpact through the strategic sourcing engagements and supplier management activities within the I&L Category. Annual spend value above %24100M
- This is a global role hence the incumbent would need to understand global strategic sourcing and should be able to establish vendor connections across regions.
- Global coordination and collaboration with the other Procurement teams is key.
- Take the Lead and contribute to the Procurement Organization to deliver the results defined by the procurement plan in support of the broader business requirements.
Lead a high-performance team and ensure proper implementation of leading-edge procurement capabilities to become a world class procurement Organisation
Responsibility
- Createrequestsforproposals (RFP) and reviewsbids.
- Analyzethe cost betweenvendorstomakethebestsourcedproductfortheorganization.
- Createcontractterms & condition, negotiateterms, and implements services.
- Responsiblefordrivingsupplier performance, demand management savings, and increasingcategorycompliance.
- Contribute and drive for overall prioritiesaccordingtothedefinedyearlyobjectives.
- Estimate and proposeinitiativestodeliversavingswithinhisarea of responsability and identifyadditionalopportunities.
- Responsibletounderstand and achievesourcingcategorydeliverables, savingscommitments, milestones and obligations, and establish a project plantomeeteach
- Liaison withCoordinators & within team toresolvevendordisputesattimes.
- Prepare MIS foravailabledataonregularbasis.
- FollowthePurchasetopay (P2P) process. Thisincludesthe PR & PO process.
- ManagingtheBudgetvsActualspendwithFinance team
- Search/Identity/Evaluatevendors, assesstheircapability as per Organization norms.
- Development of newvendors.
- Managingtimelyclearance of payments & handlingvendorinquiries.
- Vendordatabase management - Evaluating/Auditing variousvendorsfromtimetotimeforfreshaddition / continuity / termination.
- Ensuring and drivingcompliancewithallrelevantinternal and externalrequirementsrelatingtoprocurementprocesses and internalcontrols
- Ensureproperexecution and signing of contractsincluding NDA/BGC beforeanyconfidentialinformation is sharedfordiscussions / negotiations
- ResponsibleforVendorDatabaseinternalexternal Audit

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- Graduation degree in Science / Commerce /Business.
- Relevant years experience in Sourcing / Category Management in Manufacturing / BPO industries.
- Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Knowledge of MS Office Applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Proficient Understanding of Indirect Spend Categories like MRO, Facilities, Purchased Services & their Buying Patterns
- Strong Customer Centric focus with CAN-DO attitude
- Proficiency in Analytical & Presentation Skills
- Proficiency in Negotiation Skills
- Proactive & Persuasive Relationship with Client Stakeholders
- Good Exposure to Global Suppliers by Indirect Spend Categories
- Proficiency in creation and management of RFI / RFP / RFQs
- Moderate understanding of Spend Analysis, Contracts Drafting
- Basic Knowledge of SAP / Oracle / Other Legacy ERP Applications
- Basic Exposure to E-Sourcing Applications
