Our client, a global consulting firm, is supporting a leading building materials company to accelerate sales growth in select high-potential markets. The engagement is part of a long-term transformation to increase topline revenue in Tier 1 and Tier 2 geographies. The client is looking to onboard a hands-on Sales Consultant with prior experience in the building materials industry to drive local sales strategy and execution in key priority markets across India
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the clients local sales team in designing and executing growth strategies
- Identify and activate growth levers in assigned priority markets
- Develop sales tracking tools and performance dashboards using Excel
- Build business cases and performance updates for senior leadership via PowerPoint
- Travel to client priority markets and work closely with local teams to understand ground realities
Your Background:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales and distribution, ideally in the building materials sector (ceramics, tiles, etc.)
- Exposure to consumer goods sales and channel strategy will also be considered
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Hands-on experience in on-ground sales execution and distributor/channel engagement
- Educational qualifications: Top-tier MBA or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred
Other Information:
- Project Duration: 12 months (extendable) contract
- Location: Flexible base; candidates from Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, or Delhi-NCR preferred
- Travel to priority markets is expected
- Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
- Budget: Competitive and flexible, based on candidate experience
