Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Development: Developing & implementing the company's strategic plan in alignment.
  • Project Management: Overseeing the execution of strategic projects & initiatives. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Providing insights and recommendations based on market analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Corporate Planning/ Development: Identifying and evaluating potential mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and alliances. Lead due diligence processes and negotiations for corporate development activities.
  • Innovation and Growth Initiatives: Fostering a culture of innovation within the organization to drive growth. Oversee the development of new products, services, and business models.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and build support for strategic initiatives. Communicate strategic goals and progress to various stakeholders.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and business case creation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey insights to senior stakeholders.
  • High proficiency in tools like PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to navigate and deliver results in ambiguous and fast-changing business environments.
  • Strategic mindset with a keen eye for detail and commercial implications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BE | BTech in Chemical Engineering
  • MBA from a Tier-1 institute (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, etc.).
  • 15 to 17 years of experience in strategic roles within the chemical or allied sectors
  • Prior exposure to business development, corporate planning, or strategy consulting
  • Experience in techno-commercial functions is a strong advantage
