Job Title: Senior Data Strategist

We are seeking an accomplished data architect to lead the development of technical solutions that deliver scalable analytical insights. This key position will work closely with senior stakeholders to design and implement data strategies for corporate finance functions.

This is a critical role, responsible for driving end-to-end data and analytics solution architecture from concept to delivery. You will develop and support conceptual/logical/physical data models for analytics solutions, ensuring industry-accepted data architecture principles are integrated with those of allied disciplines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and driving end-to-end data and analytics solution architecture from concept to delivery.
  • Developing and supporting conceptual/logical/physical data models for analytics solutions.
  • Ensuring industry-accepted data architecture principles are integrated with those of allied disciplines.
  • Driving the design, sizing, setup, etc., of Azure environments and related services.
  • Providing mentoring on data architecture design and requirements to development and business teams.
  • Reviewing solution requirements and architecture to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources, and integration of multiple systems and technology.
  • Advising on new technology trends and possible adoption to maintain competitive advantage.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in pre-sales activities and publish thought leaderships. You will also work closely with the founders to drive the technology strategy for the organisation.

We are looking for a candidate with demonstrated experience delivering multiple data solutions, as well as in-depth skills with SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, HDInsights, Azure Data Lake. A deep understanding of operational dependencies of applications, networks, systems, security, and policy is also essential.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and remain evergreen with technology and industry development. Experience with ETL development, data quality management, and data architecture standardization is highly desirable.

You will be responsible for helping and leading technology team recruitments in various areas of data analytics.
