of sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG sales, excellent

leadership skills, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.


Key Deliverables:

  • Manage a team of sales professionals to achieve revenue targets through effective

channel management, category management, and general trade strategies.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets within the

assigned area.

  • Identify new opportunities for revenue generation through strategic partnerships

and marketing initiatives be responsible for outlet expansion and overall growth of

the assigned territory.

  • He/she will be responsible for overall territory sales objectives, supervise, fine-tunes and

monitors the execution and takes proactive initiatives to cease every opportunity to

increase the sales in accordance with the companies’ policies and strategies.

  • The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for setting and strengthening of

Distribution system by setting clear targets for his team members for successful

performance of team members.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategic

planning and optimize sales performance.

  • Should have regular contacts and visits to company distribution centers. To help

the commercial team by conducting regular audits from time to time.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of company-wide goals.


Qualification &Experience:

  • Graduation from a recognized university
  • Proven track record of achieving significant revenue growth through effective

channel management, category management, and team leadership.

  • Strong understanding of Indian FMCG industry dynamics, including distribution

networks, retail channels, and consumer behavior.

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build strong relationships with

customers at all levels

  • Exposure to managing a territory independently
