As we expand into strategic markets, we are building a dedicated business unit with a payments license in GIFT City to drive our cross-border operations.Position Overview We are seeking an agile, hands-on Senior Director to lead and execute our cross-border business strategy for Decentro's GIFT City business unit. The ideal candidate will bring 8-12 years of relevant experience, a background in financial services or payments, and proven strategic expertise to help us identify the right partners, close contracts, and accelerate our growth.What is expected from you - Lead the establishment and growth of Decentro's GIFT City business unit focused on cross-border banking and payments. - Identify, evaluate, and engage with high-potential customers and banking partners aligned with Decentro's strategy. - Drive end-to-end business development activities, including prospecting, structuring partnership models, negotiating, and closing commercial contracts. - Develop and maintain a sophisticated understanding of international markets, customer segmentation, and value proposition design. - Build and present compelling business cases and go-to-market plans, using data-driven insights to shape partnerships and strategy. - Interpret complex data and market trends to inform decision-making and drive actionable business insights. - Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, risk, compliance, legal) to ensure smooth onboarding and operational execution of partners. - Navigate the regulatory landscape and competitive environment pertaining to cross-border transactions in GIFT City. - Establish clear KPIs and targets for business performance and report progress regularly to executive leadership. - Serve as a key ambassador for Decentro in the cross-border payments space, representing the company at industry forums and events.What we are looking for - 8 to 12 years of experience in banking partnerships, cross-border payments, or related fintech roles. - Prior work experience and background in financial services or payments is mandatory. - Proven track record in business development, especially in managing partnerships and enterprise sales within financial services. - Strong knowledge of cross-border banking and payments products, particularly within GIFT City or similar financial hubs. - Demonstrated agility and hands-on approach to execution in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments. - Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends for strategic decision-making. - Strong understanding of international markets, customer segmentation, and value proposition development. - Experience developing business cases and effective go-to-market plans. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. - Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements impacting cross-border transactions. - Strong sense of ownership and responsibility. - Strong written and verbal communication.What we offer - The ability for you to make an impact and lay a foundation for the upcoming fin-tech innovations. - A multicultural and diverse team of colleagues from different states that speak in total 6 Indian and global languages. - Progressive and flexible work hours that match your personality and lifestyle. - The best-in-class perks and benefits for the teams.
