About the role:

Tiger’s growing Banking Financial Services vertical seeks self-motivated AI/ML/Data Science professionals with domain expertise in the Banking and Financial Services space and strong technical skills for a challenging role in the Banking & Financial Services Analytics area.

Responsibilities for this job include working with various clients to design, develop, and implement various Analytics and Data Science use cases. Skillsets needed are a mix of hands-on analytics and predictive model development/validation experience and the knowhow of the domain context in similar areas along with team leading and stakeholder management experience. The role might also come with a managerial responsibility to set and review tasks, perform QC, and to supervise mentor and coach analysts.

As part of larger Financial Services practice, you may get to work on a broad range of business-critical problems across various work streams across the BFS value chain. You will be engaging with clients and client partners to understand their business context, and work with a team of data scientists and engineers.

Experience: 1 to 5 years

Job Responsibilities

1) Working with various clients to design, develop, and implement various Analytics, Data Science and BI use cases

2) Successful End-to-End hands-on execution of descriptive, prescriptive and predictive analytics across the Banking and Financial Services value chain

2) Conduct detailed analytical work with a high level of accuracy to deliver high level results to senior management


Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

1) Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Statistics / Mathematics, or Risk Mandatory

2) Strong Python and SQL Skills

3) Exposure to the BFS Domain in at least anyone of Credit Risk & Strategy/ Fraud Risk & Strategy/Marketing Analytics/Customer Analytics

4) Predictive Model development experience

5) Direct client stakeholder management exposure

6) Strong communication skills

Desired Experience

1) Around 1-5 years of Work Experience in the mentioned domain in any product (Banking and Financial Services Industry - Indian and Global) or Consulting organization in this space

Desirable Skills

1) Hands on Experience in Python is must

2) Hands on Exposure to Cloud Services (AWS and Databricks preferable)

3) Exposure to Generative AI Projects

4) Exposure to Consumer Banking Analytics

5) Exposure to Market Risk Methodologies

6) Exposure to SAS is good to have

7) Exposure to any Data visualization Tool (Power BI, Tableau)

6) Exposure to regulatory models under the guidance of CECL, IFRS9 and CCAR
