The Commi Chef will work closely with our Head Chef and Product Innovation team to prepare and execute a variety of products, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every plate.


Responsibilities:

  • Preparation, Production and Assembly: Assist in the preparation and production of various products, following recipes and guidelines provided by the Production Head.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that every creation meets our standards of taste and presentation.
  • Kitchen Basics: Demonstrate a solid understanding of kitchen fundamentals and best practices.
  • Equipment & Ingredient Knowledge: Familiarise yourself with our tools and ingredients, utilising them to their fullest potential.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients, utensils, and equipment.
  • Innovation: Bring fresh ideas to the table, contributing to our ongoing quest for product innovation.
  • Inventory Management & Daily Operations: Assist in inventory and stock keeping, helping to maintain smooth operations.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling and storage of perishable items.
  • Recipe & Yield Management: Manage recipes and yields efficiently, optimising production processes.
  • Product Application: Apply your expertise across our range of offerings, ensuring consistent quality in every bite.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment. Culinary degree or relevant certification from a recognised institution is a plus.
