Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager - Air Freight to drive business growth, develop strategic relationships, and expand our air freight services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales and business development.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Develop and execute business strategies to increase air freight revenue and market share.

2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, airlines, and industry partners.

3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, tenders, and RFPs.

4. Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements with clients and airlines.

5. Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

6. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.

7. Achieve sales targets and performance KPIs.


Requirements:


1. 5+ years of experience in air freight business development, sales, or marketing.

2. In-depth knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain management.

3. Proven sales and business development track record.

4. Strong industry network and relationships.

5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

6. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

7. Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.


Preferred Qualifications:


1. Industry certifications (e.g., IATA, FIATA).

2. Experience with air freight management systems.

3. Familiarity with global trade regulations.
